Join Bob and Juli for a special overnight trip to Mercey Hot Springs on the western edge of Fresno County.  Meet the leaders Saturday afternoon and bird until sunset, the prime hour for fledgling Long-Eared Owls to take flight for the first time.  Be out again by sunrise Sunday morning for the peak of migrant and breeding songbird activity.  To be on the grounds at these hours, the trip is limited to participants staying overnight at Mercey Hot Springs resort.   As a bonus to birding, staying at Mercey affords you the opportunity to experience the hot springs after night falls.  Book your lodging early at merceyhotsprings.com. The trip will go even with a small group. Contact us by email at fieldtripsATohloneaudubon.org if you plan to participate.
